Kaala Sarpa Dosha Parihara at Kodumudi

Recently an astrologer advised me to do a kala sarpa dosha pariharam pooja at Kodumudi, Tamil Nadu.  Kodumudi is a small town near Erode - about 40 km east. There is only one train from Bangalore which stops at Kodumudi. All other train and bus options take you to Erode from where you need to take another bus to here. I hired a cab after failed attempts to get confirmed train tickets.  In hindsight I am happy that I did take a cab. There are no auto-rickshaws in Kodumudi. At least I did not see any. So cab was helpful to go from hotel to temple and back.  Srirangam is a 2 hour drive from here which I happened to visit on the return journey. Also Namakkal Narasimha temple is another place I visited on the way back. Kodumudi Magudeswarar Temple: Kodumudi Magudeswarar temple houses shrines of Lord Shiva, Parvati, Lord Veera Narayana, Lakshmi, and Lord Brahma, mainly.
